Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q: What is concierge care?
A: Concierge care means you get personalized medical support without the limitations of a traditional clinic. You’ll have direct access to your provider, flexible scheduling, and treatments tailored to your body and your goals — with care delivered in-office, in the comfort of your home, or on the go with telemedicine.

Q: How do the programs work with the concierge care?

A: The concierge care allows us to become your primary care provider.  If you wish to accelerate your health and wellness, the programs that we offer can be added to the concierge model or utilized individually while you keep your existing primary care provider.

Q: Do you take walk-ins?

A: We currently do not take walk-ins.  Appointments are needed to assure adequate time for the doctor.

Q: What is your policy on pain medications?

A: Due to current state and federal regulations regarding narcotics, we do not prescribe narcotics and nor do we manage chronic pain.

Q: Do you provide Women's Services?

A: We do not provide women's services such as Pap smears, gynecologic exams, or procedures.

Q: Do you provide Vaccines?

A. We do not administer vaccines.  We are able to make the appropriate recommendations and then the vaccines can be obtained at the pharmacy or the health department in the state and county where you live.

Q: Are there any additional fees?

A: There are additional fees for services not included in the plan chosen.  These will be explained at the time of signing up for concierge care or wellness packages.

Q: How do I get started?
A: Simply call us or fill out the contact form on this website. We’ll schedule your consultation to review your health history, goals, and then recommend the best path forward.

WEIGHT LOSS OPTIONS

Q: What’s the difference between Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?
A: Semaglutide is a GLP-1 medication that helps reduce appetite and regulate blood sugar. Tirzepatide is a dual-acting medication that targets both GLP-1 and GIP receptors, offering stronger appetite suppression and often faster results. Tirzepatide is ideal for people with insulin resistance or more significant weight loss goals.

Q: What are oral peptides, and how do they compare to injections?
A: Oral peptides are liquid forms of semaglutide or tirzepatide taken daily under the tongue. They offer a needle-free option, but may not be as strong or fast-acting as injections. They are ideal for people looking for convenience, comfort, and a gentler start to treatment.

Q: How much weight can I lose?
A: Results vary, but most patients lose 1–3 pounds per week with medication or oral peptides. Natural programs like the True Weight Solution typically result in ½–1 pound per week, while red light therapy supports inch loss and body contouring.

Q: How long will I need to be on these treatments?
A: That depends on your goals. Some patients use medication short-term to reach a goal, while others continue with maintenance doses. We customize every plan, including off-ramping and transition support for long-term success.

Coaching Program

Q: What can I expect from your coaching program?
A: You’ll receive a personalized plan designed around your goals, lifestyle, and challenges, plus ongoing support and accountability from a dedicated coach.

Q: How is this different from other programs?
A: We focus on sustainable changes, not quick fixes. Our approach is tailored to you—your schedule, preferences, and needs—so you can get results that last.

Q: How do I know if coaching is right for me?
A: If you’ve tried other programs without lasting success or feel stuck and need expert guidance, coaching could be exactly what you need.

Q: What happens during the free discovery call?
A: We’ll discuss your current struggles, what’s holding you back, and your goals.  From there we will schedule an appointment to do a deep dive into your health and develop a plan just for you!

RED LIGHT THERAPY

Q: Does red light therapy really work for weight loss?
A: Red light therapy liquifies and destroys fat cells, improves elastin and collagen in the skin resulting in inch loss and tighter skin. It’s especially effective when combined with our other programs.

Q: Is it painful?
A: Not at all. Treatments are relaxing, painless, and take about 20–30 minutes. There’s no downtime, and you can resume your day immediately.

APPOINTMENTS & SUPPORT

Q: Are services only available in Florida?

A: No! Dr. McBride is licensed in Indiana, Ohio, and Florida.  With our telemedicine capabilities, we can offer all of our programs remotely except for the House calls and the Red Light Therapy as these require in person visits.

Q: Are services available in-home or only in-office?
A: We offer concierge flexibility — services can be provided in-office, at your home, or remotely with telemedicine.

Q: Will I have support between appointments?
A: Absolutely. You’ll have direct access to your provider and team for questions, progress tracking, and plan adjustments. This is one of the biggest benefits of concierge care.

Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: Our services are not billed through insurance. However, we offer competitive pricing, packages, and payment options to keep your care affordable and straightforward.

Supplements

Q: Do I have to take supplements to see results?
A: No. Supplements are optional, but they can help fill nutritional gaps, improve energy, and support your overall health.

Q: Are your supplements safe?
A: Yes. We only recommend high-quality, tested supplements from trusted sources to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Q: How do I know which supplements are right for me?
A: Dr. McBride will recommend supplements based on your specific goals, needs, and health history.

Hormone Therapy

Q: What is hormone therapy?
A: Hormone therapy helps restore hormonal balance using safe, medical-grade treatments to improve energy, mood, weight, and overall wellness.

Q: How do I know if I need hormone therapy?
A: Common signs include fatigue, mood swings, weight changes, sleep problems, and low libido. We perform testing to determine if it’s right for you.

Q: Is hormone therapy safe?
A: Yes—when monitored by a qualified provider, hormone therapy is safe, effective, and customized to your body’s needs.

Q: How soon will I notice results?
A: Many clients begin noticing improvements in energy, mood, and sleep within weeks, though results vary by individual.
